Time is set aside each day for proper moisturizing and exfoliation of his skin with expensive salon products. "The Metrosexual" worships his hair, treating it as a living extension of his beauty, only using shampoos, conditioners and treatments that cannot be bought by the general public.

Whenever out, he's constantly watching for what other guys might be wearing - what brand, what style, but most importantly, if it's from the Fall or Spring line. "The Metrosexual" cannot stand playing second fiddle to a more attractive man, and often becomes jealous when another guy has a nice outfit on. At the bar, he never orders cheap liquor or smokes your basic cigarette. Instead, he sips on a fine brandy and gently puffs away on a smooth and refreshing Dunhill.
